Carole Clarke founded the House of Blessing in 2007. Spurred on by the Gospel, Carole continues to provide hundreds of women with life-affirming support through her ministry. She says, "Because He first loved us, we have a responsibility to recognize that each woman brought to our ministry is worthy of love, protection, and nourishment."

Jacqueline Powell
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Jackie has been with House of Blessing since 2012. She has served in many different capacities and now serves as Executive Director for House of Blessing. She has a heart of compassion for every woman who has come through the doors of House of Blessing.
Deborah Hendricks​
HOUSE MOM
Debbie serves as the House Mom for House of Blessing. She joined House of Blessing in 2019. She has great communication skills with diverse art creativity. She cultivates a peaceful, loving atmosphere in the home, developing daily routines and healthy communication habits.
Mike Shaffer

HEAD OF THE BOARD
Ministry to the homeless in Los Angeles can be a disheartening endeavor, but Mike Shaffer lets nothing get in the way of the valiant efforts at the House of Blessing. Aiding in fundraising and home improvement, Mike Shaffer and the rest of the board faithfully strive to keep this Christ-centered ministry running.
Armina Hill
CASE MANAGER
Armina Hill came to the United States in 2001. She worked as a counselor in a ranch for troubled teenage girls. After that, she came to Hope Again where she worked as a Case Worker for 7 years. She has a Communication Degree which is also very helpful in helping House of Blessing with newsletter and other fundraising correspondence.
